
Thank you for your interest in the New Markets Tax Credits Program (NMTC). Kitsap County's NMTC Facilitators is prepared to process your loan request. Information requested will be used to determine your eligibility as a Qualified Active Low-Income Community Business (QALICB) and to analyze the financial feasibility of your request.
Please provide the following information in a three ring binder:
- Name of Business, Brief Description of the Business, Operating Plan and Statement of Experience
- Street Address of principal location
- Street Address, census tract numbers, county names of locations where employer services are performed and/or tangible property is used
- Amount of financing requested and statement of use of funds
- If secured by real estate, please provide a brief description of the property, contemplated improvements, cost estimates, legal description, and appraisal (if available)
- If secured by personal property, please provide a brief description of the property, legal description, and value (appraisal if available)
- Borrower:
- prior three years audited financials
- prior three years trial balance
- prior three years tax return (signed)
- YTD trial balance
- YTD un-audited financials
- Pro formas for the next two years
- Form SS-4 (if newly formed)
- Partnership/Operating Agreement or corporation documents including articles of incorporation,
state filing information or certification of good standing
- Tenant(s):
- prior three years audited financials
- prior three years trial balance
- prior three years tax return (signed)
- YTD trial balance
- YTD un-audited financials
- Guarantor (if available):
- prior three years audited financials
- prior three years trial balance
- prior three years tax return (signed)
- Deed of Trust (if property has been purchased already)
- Projected number of FTE jobs expected to be created in the next 7 years
- For real estate loans also report the number of construction jobs expected
to be created by the financial construction project (can submit this later)
- Site Layout
- Report the number of square feet of space that is expected to be constructed, rehabilitated,
or acquired with funding from the transaction (can submit this later)
- Name, address, and telephone number of all principals, owners, and/or investors
- Leased property listing with signed leases
- An Environmental Review for Phase 1
- An Engineer's building report
- Signed copy of "Authorization to Release Credit Information" for individuals and/or
businesses
- A $5,000 application fee
